Tarakan Can Help Ship 30 GT

TARAKAN - This year the Department of Marine and Fisheries (DKP) Tarakan City will get help from the central government as one unit of vessels above 30 GT complete with fishing gear, safety equipment shipping and storage cooler where the fish.

Head DKP Syahrintan Tarakan City, said the aid plan will be given to the Joint Business Group (KUB) Tarakan City fisherman who later performed the first selection by DKP Tarakan City.

"We are delighted with this assistance, as this will greatly help our fishermen to supplement their income in fishing. KUB Surely a strong and secure keberadannya who will get this assistance," said Syahrintan, Tuesday (15/03/2011) at room Imbaya Office of the Mayor of Tarakan. (*)
